Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Principal Consultant with deep expertise in MarTech (Marketing Technology), eCommerce, and D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) strategies. The successful candidate will lead client engagements, architect solutions, and drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance marketing and eCommerce capabilities, ensuring seamless and personalized customer experiences across channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement & Advisory:
Lead client workshops and discovery sessions to understand business goals, current technology landscape, and digital transformation needs.
Advise clients on the optimal MarTech, eCommerce, and D2C strategies to improve customer engagement and business growth.
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and key stakeholders, presenting innovative solutions aligned with business objectives. - Solution Architecture & Strategy:
Design and architect comprehensive digital transformation roadmaps that integrate MarTech solutions (CDP, CRM, marketing automation), eCommerce platforms, and D2C strategies.
Lead the assessment and selection of technology stacks, platforms, and tools to meet client objectives in marketing, customer experience, and commerce.
Ensure scalable, future-proof solutions that align with industry best practices and emerging trends in D2C and eCommerce. - Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, analysts, and client stakeholders, to deliver complex projects.
Mentor junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting deadlines and quality benchmarks. - Execution & Delivery:
Oversee end-to-end implementation of eCommerce and MarTech solutions, ensuring smooth integration, deployment, and adoption.
Lead the development of personalized customer journeys, omnichannel marketing, and commerce experiences leveraging data analytics and marketing tools.
Monitor KPIs, customer data, and campaign performance to drive ongoing optimization and recommend actionable insights to clients. - Thought Leadership & Innovation:
Stay abreast of the latest MarTech, eCommerce, and D2C trends, bringing fresh insights and innovative solutions to client engagements.
Publish whitepapers, case studies, and present at industry conferences to establish [Company Name] as a thought leader in the space.
Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and AR/VR for enhancing customer engagement.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in MarTech, eCommerce, and D2C business models.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale digital transformation projects with a focus on customer experience, personalization, and revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of MarTech solutions (e.g., CDP, CRM, marketing automation), eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), and D2C channels.
- Excellent understanding of omnichannel marketing, customer journey mapping, and personalized engagement strategies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading client engagements at an executive level.
- Demonstrated success in optimizing marketing campaigns, leveraging data analytics, and driving measurable business outcomes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with emerging D2C trends such as subscription models, direct-to-customer logistics, and customer experience (CX) innovations.
- Expertise in data analytics, AI, and machine learning applications within marketing and commerce.
